'The tower of Heimdal' / 'Tornet i Heimdal' 2016-2019

Looking at a tangible presence in the urban landscape to evoke a different understanding of what we are used to, with a starting point in a parking lot in Heimdal, Norway

The installation was up between 2016 - 2019 and partly financed by The City of Trondheim, after it was taken down the city installed two trees and two bench on the site of the installation, and the parking lot was no more.

During the installation a local carpentry school got involved in the making, after involvement from one of their students after school hours. The work became referred to as 'The tower of Heimdal' by the locals, and so it became the name of the work.
